As a result of our model, there is no need for
Advanced
Markets to employ a deal desk. The only reason for a deal desk
is so that a company can do just that, deal. They deal your
prices and decide whether to lay off and hedge your trade, to
take the risk on that trade and profit if you lose, or become
responsible for paying you should you gain. Most companies will
show you a bank?s price, but when a client clicks on that price
it goes to their desk first. An obvious conflict occurs if the
company you are trading with will benefit from a client?s
misfortune. Not needing a deal desk because of our strict STP
model is another way we demonstrate our transparency.
A strict STP model is only possible because of the technology
that we employ. It is the same technology that 1/3 of the top
100 banks in the world use, and have been using for the last 17
years. If a bank can send out a price with confidence that it
will be executed in speeds only seen before in the institutional
world (under 250 milliseconds), then that price will be executed
without having to come back and be checked for accuracy. Without
that speed, traders trade on latent or ?stale prices?, meaning
by the time the order was hit by the end user; the price engine
has already sent out a new and more accurate price. Nearly all
systems can not send and receive prices fast enough before the
prices change, especially in fast moving markets, and that is
why rejections and repricing occurs. The banks can not execute a
price that is old, and old in the institutional world is over
300 milliseconds. So in order to achieve a live executable
price, all the time, technology becomes the most important
variable.
Advanced Markets is committed to bringing a fast, fair,
manipulation free trading environment. We will continue to add
more liquidity providers to ensure tighter spreads and a more
stable environment. Sign up for a live account, or use our Demo
account as an exact replica of a live account. Same price feed,
same executions. Once again, complete transparency.
